Dee & Daniel - Otley Chevin

Dee & Daniel were married at Otley Chevin - they were a wonderful couple to work with and the day went beautifully. Here are a few Fave's...

In print this shot looks fab and has a real 'movie' quality to it...

The guy's try to figure out button holes!!

En route to the ceremony...

I love this low angle shot of Grandma...

Lots of vivid colour in this informal family pic...

We went along to the Chevin for some 'big' scenery - it was very windy but Dee and Daniel loved it never the less!

Liz & Dan - Cumbria

Liz & Dan had an intimate wedding in the lake district - sadly the weather was not on our side and it rained heavily at times not allowing us down to the lake side. The atmosphere was great though and we all had fun...

Before the wedding the guys did a spot of 'male bonding' in the grounds of the hotel...

Meanwhile... inside Liz and the girls are busy!!

Ellie & Tim - York

This was an extremely poignant day for me as a wedding photographer. Ellie and Tim had their date booked with me for a Christmas wedding. However Ellie's mum was battling cancer so the wedding was brought forward to the end of August and they had a more discrete occasion at home.

Ellie's mum very sadly passed away 4 days after the wedding.

Here are some of my favourite images from a day I will never forget....

The moment Ellie's dad sees her in her dress for the first time...

... a very emotional moment...

Mum sees her daughter ready to go....

This says it all...

Ellie looked radiant - and the sun shone brightly for her

Tim waits patiently at the church...

One last look back... and ready to go...

Mum watched the procession from the car...

A beautiful location near the house...

Young ones write messages of love to tie on the tree...

Mum's Friends enjoy a little chat...

Congratulations to you both on a very happy, and powerful day that I will never forget.

Thank you...

One of the satisfying things about this job is creating timeless memories for couples and then seeing their delight and appreciation afterwards - I love it! I thought I would share with you just a few comments I have received:

"We cannot quite put into words just how much we appreciate what you have done for us. The album and DVD are completely out of this world. Thank you once again for ensuring we can remember our day in the most gorgeous way."
S & T

"Thank you for producing our stunning wedding photographs, they are truly amazing... you made us feel relaxed and natural in the photographs. The quality and consistency of your work makes it very hard to narrow down the photos for the final album! They are all so lovely!"
A & M

"We are thrilled with the album, you really have captured some most natural and memorable pictures of our day. Thank you so much."
C & J

The Groom didn't stay at the helm for long mind you!!

David buries his head as he gets the giggles... Not easy being the centre of attention!!

Great venue for a country wedding on the hills above Halifax...

Chris the groom looks well...

Guests walking down the hill to arrrive at church - this made for loads of fab shots. Here is just one...

Shame... I cannot quite remember what the groom said at this moment!! Wonderful expressions though...

Off into the field for some environmental shots...

Lots going on here!!...

Nice pair of good old Jimmy Choos!!...

Bridesmaids being extremely usefull...

Love this shot before the ceremony - the light and sense of space is wonderful
